Aonghus Frasier aka Haggis Macbeth was a Highland rogue turned pirate aboard the infamous "Scarlet Lady." He led a mutiny aboard the vessel and became her captain where he earned the title "Angus the Red." After many years of success he learned of a plot by a rival captain to overtake command of the Lady by mutiny and betrayal. Angus devised a plan and late one night when most of the crew were asleep, he loaded all the gold he could carry into a longboat and set a delayed fuse in the powder hold. As he rowed away the ship erupted in a apocalyptic blast of fire, debris, and the mangled bodies of his traitorous crewmen. Angus rowed to the shores of Neverwinter where he abandoned his name and reputation and became simply Haggis Macbeth, innkeeper and self-proclaimed Kegmeister. In spite of his friendly and ingratiating manner, he remains a scoundrel and seeks every illicit opportunity to earn a dishonest coin.
